Giorgio Piola is Formula 1's most famous technical journalist, and his enduring designs remain the benchmark for excellence in race car illustrations. Featured on this elegant black T-Shirt is Piola's hand drawn sketch of one of the greatest racing cars of all time: the F2003-GA. Designed by Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne, Scuderia Ferrari's 49th constructed single-seater proved to be no match for any competitor during the 2003 F1 season.
Michael Schumacher won the F2003-GA's debut race in Spain, and would go on to amass a total of 6 victories that season, including wins at the San Marino, Austrian, Canadian, Italian and United States Grand Prix. That year, the German driver earned his sixth World Championship crown and the team its fifth Constructors' title in a row.
This Giorgio Piola T-Shirt is one more example of Piola's drawing skill. It has been carefully screen printed on the back with a detailed profile illustration of the F2003-GA Formula 1 car, as well as an outline of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, host of the 2003 Italian Grand Prix which Michael Schumacher won from pole.
This T-Shirt is a Limited Edition model from the Giorgio Piola Official Collection.
