Scuderia Ferrari's 2003 Formula 1 season car, designated the F2003-GA, brought home both world championships with Michael Schumacher winning his sixth Drivers' title. The GA addition to the name of the car was a tribute to the late Gianni Agnelli, former head of FIAT, who had passed earlier that year.
To say that the F2003-GA was a great race car is a severe understatement. Not only was it good enough to secure two consecutive 1-2 podium finishes after its introduction at the 2003 Spanish Grand Prix, it earned podiums in ten out of twelve races over the course of the remainder of the season. It is one of many iconic race cars that the Formula 1 technical journalist would go on to sketch over the course of his career.
On the back of this elegant white polo are three illustrations of Scuderia Ferrari's championship-winning car, originally hand-drawn by Giorgio Piola, showcasing a profile, top and noseless front view of the F2003-GA. An outline of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza is also featured on the front and back of the polo. Monza played host to the 2003 Italian Grand Prix, one of six races that Schumacher would win that year.
This polo is a Limited Edition model from the Giorgio Piola Official Collection.
