Technical diagram of the Brawn GP BGP 001 car. One of the biggest underdog stories in Formula 1. The car was designed and developed by Honda for their F1 programme with substantial funding and R&D expertise. But Honda surprised everyone and abruptly called it quits at the end of 2008.

Ross Brawn knew the potential of the car, and its party trick, the controversial double diffuser. Paired with a Mercedes engine, the car won 8 out of the 17 races that year, winning the Drivers' Championship for Jenson Button and the Constructors' title for Brawn GP.
