Mclaren MP4/5B 1990 F1 Art Print

The MP4/5B gave Senna his second driver’s championship in the first year at McLaren without Prost as a teammate. The car was a modification of the previous season's MP4/5. The wings and the rear bodywork were reworked and the 3.5 liter V10 Honda engine was slightly modified. Senna took a leadership role in working with the engineers to improve the car’s reliability. The MP4/5B was the leader in qualifying this season which not always translated to the same pace in the race as Ferrari gave a strong competition. Senna ended up taking 6 wins and 11 podiums.
